Congratulations to Bahiyyih Rubin, STRIDE’s 2018 Athlete of the Year! B, as he is affectionately known around STRIDE, participates in swimming, bowling, dance and camping and is known for his good sportsmanship, positive attitude, and love of high fives! Way to go B!!!

STRIDE Wounded Warrior Snowfest

The 14th Annual STRIDE Wounded Warrior Snowfest was a great success. Some of our veterans have already expressed an interest to come back and be mentors at our summer camp! According to veteran Pierre Larkin (pictured above), adaptive sports changes veteran lives. STRIDE is proud to bring our adaptive veteran programs to the Capital Region.

100K Vertical Challenge

With wind gusts of up to 60 mph and a resort-wide power outage shutting down the mountain, participants in the 4th Annual STRIDE 100K Vertical Challenge had to use all of their “adaptive” creativity to ensure a good time, and they succeeded! This year’s event raised more funds than any other in STRIDE’s history, demonstrating what a dedicated and great bunch they are!
