Hi, my name is James Modlin. I am from Long Island, NY, and I currently go to UAlbany for undergrad. I am currently studying communications as my major at the university. Growing up, I always loved watching and playing sports. It is still one of my favorite things to do. Some of my favorite sports are baseball, hockey, football, and basketball. When I saw the opportunity to help those who want to play sports but can’t due to certain circumstances, I knew that this was something for me. Growing up I had learned the value of volunteering and giving back. I was a volunteer firefighter in Long Island at the local fire department near my house and it was something that I was very passionate about. Volunteering is a huge part of my lifestyle and I love helping people. I am very excited to start interning with Stride!
