STRIDE’s College Internship Program is designed to provide opportunities for individuals interested in Outdoor/ Experiential Education, Therapeutic Fields, and Non-profit management to gain professional experience and knowledge in this growing field. Interns get hands on experience in all aspects of programming and have the opportunity to expand their soft skills as well as technical skills.
We offer internships for the summer, fall, winter, and spring semesters in Business, Development, Marketing, Program Management, Non-Profit Management, or Therapeutic Recreation.
We can also work with you, and your advisor, to set up either a non-traditional internship or practicum.
“I assisted a student with autism slide down the trail and then ride a chairlift for the first time. Not only was the student thrilled, but the family was overjoyed. My world changed at that moment and I now know that I want a purpose-driven life and career.” – Michelle, winter intern
Each non-paid internship is credit-bearing or for professional training, and will be tailored to your needs, school objectives, and guidelines.
