My team Black Diamonds in the Rough consists of me, a STRIDE Board member, a mono-ski athlete, and an instructor and the founder of the program. We will complete a total of 87 runs at Jiminy Peak on Monday, 24 February, and I seek your donation for our effort.
STRIDE Adaptive Sports taught over 11,000 lessons last year, providing recreational programs for people with disabilities in 18 different sports, 28 locations and 4 states, with free programs for youth and Wounded Warriors for 34 years. Winter sports are the cornerstone of STRIDE programs, so this fundraising event is very important to keep us strong.
Please donate any amount that is comfortable for you, but consider a stretch gift, since we have a huge goal this year with the opening of our new Community SHARE Center.
If you prefer to write a check, please make it out to STRIDE, Inc., let me know and send it my way.
