 Swimming Schedule for Spring 2008
Starts: Sunday, April 13th, 2008 Ends: Sunday, June 22th, 2008

Our instructional/recreational swimming program is hosted at the Capital District YMCA in East Greenbush near Columbia High School. The program is designed for participants to play or have one-to-one swim instructions from certified swimming instructors. Students enjoy instructional lessons, or lap swimming in the lanes. Given the recreational nature of this program we encourage family members to accompany us and their children to participate in the pool. The program is hosted in the fall and spring months and runs for eight weeks, on Sunday at 11 am. Our first week includes an informational safety meeting to start the season. Lifeguards are on duty. Children enjoy the fun and relaxing atmosphere of water play while socializing with their friends and soaking in the Jacuzzi after lessons!
We are seeking volunteers to aid in the water. If you or someone you know wants to donate some of their free time to assist a wonderful group of children who have special needs, STRIDE is the place for you. Please call the STRIDE office if you are interested in volunteering in the water! You need not be a good swimmer to assist with free swim.
