Participating Resorts

STRIDE offers three mountain resorts to choose from this year; Jiminy Peak, the Mountain Resort in Hancock, MA. and Catamount Mountain in Hillsdale, NY, and our new affiliate program, hosted at Ski Sundown, in New Hartford, CT .

We offer exceptional instruction in adaptive ski & snowboard lessons in all methods. Our professionally trained and certified staff of instructors teach over 800 lessons in a season.

Lessons
Lessons are offered for 2.5 hours, which includes specialized equipment and rentals. Hours of operation are Tuesday through Thursday evenings and every weekend, November through April. We offer lessons for Mono-ski, Bi-ski, Visual or hearing impaired, Cognitively challenged, 3-track or 4-track, and adaptive snowboard. Our program at Catamount Mountain offers lessons on the weekends only. Advanced reservations are required with a current application on file. Cost is $40 at Catamount; $50 at Jiminy Peak and Ski Sundown.

• Speak clearly so that we can return your call

Cancellation Policy
We reserve the right to charge a full price cancellation fee. Present your valid credit card number when making reservations. In the event of emergency cancellations, first call the supervisor listed above, and then call:

• Ski Sundown (860-379-7669

Save the date - "The Great Adaptive Ski Race"
It will be held on March 14, 2009.  It's held at the end of each season.  You can watch any one of our accomplished skiers in competition and "going for the gold" as they fly through the course.

CANCELLATION POLICY: For Reservations of All Programs

To cancel a reservation,  call the STRIDE office to cancel no later then 24 hours prior to event.

In the event of EMERGENCY CANCELLATIONS ONLY, you need to first call the STRIDE Office and the program supervisor, and in the event of skiing you need to also call the ski desk at Jiminy Peak (413-738-5500 ext. 512) or Catamount (518-325-3200) depending on where you have a reservation.  We may be able to schedule another student in your reserved spot if you are unable to attend
