Saratoga Program

photo of sailing crewA one-of- a-kind curriculum, with format provided by the "Start Sailing Right" manual of the American Red Cross and U.S. Sailing. Individual learning needs are addressed, and boats are adapted to meet the needs of every child. STRIDE offers the chance to learn to sail rigged sloops, after four weeks of lakeside and on the water instruction, class will finish with a regatta on Saratoga Lake August 30th. Music, racing, barbecue, and lots of fun will be had by all who attend.

2008 Dates: 
Monday evenings: August 4th,11th, 18th and 25th
Sailing Regatta: Saturday, August 30th,

Firstmates must provide their own transportation to instruction at Saratoga Lake Sailing Club.

West Chester County, New Rochelle Program

A one-of- a-kind curriculum, STRIDE offers the chance to learn to sail rigged sonar keel boats, morning sailing after each of the four weeks of indoor classroom instruction each weekend.

Berkshire Massachusetts - Lake Pontusac Program

Under the leadership of Skipper Richard Cote, we are pleased to announce a Berkshires MA Sailing program for the week of July 23-27 at Lake Pontusac in Pittsfield MA.  Students will learn to sail for a week-long program in the evening hours from  5 pm to 8 pm on Flying Scott centerboard boats.  Interested students and volunteers should contact: Richard R.
