Adaptive Target Shooting Program

john c at riflery practiceSince 2010, STRIDE has offered its adaptive shooting program in air rifle marksmanship in partnership with the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) Rifle Club. Whether you want to become a shooting competitor or just learn the basics, this is the program for you.

Using the best equipment currently available and one-on-one coaching, athletes can develop shooting skills to any degree, even learning to shoot competitively on a national level. Members are trained to shoot in international or Olympic style shooting.

Sessions are held at the RPI Rifle Range in the Armory Basement of the Mueller Fitness Center on the RPI campus in Troy, NY. The range was built as a military shooting range in the early 1950’s. Use of live ammo was replaced with air rifles in 1983, which are mostly German made.
