Strides 4 STRIDE Run, Walk ‘n’ Roll
We raised over $24,000 to support adaptive sport and recreation programs for local individuals with disabilities!! Thank you for your support!!!
On Saturday, June 17th over 250 people came out to support STRIDE Adaptive Sports and to help promote equal opportunity in sport, regardless of disability! As part of the Olympic Day celebration we were joined by the USA Wheelchair Curling Team who will be representing the United States at the 2018 Paralympic Games in PeyongChang, South Korea.
We were also honored to have the Mayor of Albany, Kathy Sheehan and the Albany County Executive, Dan McCoy join us to kick off the event. The national anthem was sung to the delight of the crowd, by STRIDE Athlete Chance Thibeault.
We hope that everyone had a great day, and we are looking forward to seeing you next year for the 9th Annual Strides 4 STRIDE!
