Skiing

Skiing is the nucleus of the STRIDE programs and we are now running at Moutnains:  Jiminy Peak, the Mountain Resort in Hancock, MA.  Catamount Mountain, located in Hillsdale, NY, and Ski Sundown, located in New Hartford, CT.

STRIDE trains all of it's volunteer ski and snowboard instructors in the American Teaching System of Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) and AASI- American Association Snowboard Instructors. More than 60% of our instructors hold PSIA and/or AASI certification.

YMCA

STRIDE hosts its swimming program at the Capital District YMCA facility in East Greenbush.

Our sailing program resides on beautiful Lake George at the YMCA Camp Chingachgook.

This winter we'll enjoy new Pineridge Cross Country and Snowshoe programs.

The Adaptive Learn to Sail program is hosted by the New York Sailing School, located downstate at the New Rochelle Marina.

Camping weekends work in conjunction with New York State Parks.

Park Access for Children with Disabilities - USGS Access Pass.

STRIDE proudly hosts an annual spring whitewater rafting trip for our students, donated by Whitewater Challengers in North River, NY.
