Teen Dance 2009 129 PA300549[1]

STRIDE Teen Dances are evenings full of festivities, memories and fun for youth and guests to to socialize in a formal dinner-dance setting.  Teen Dances have a "prom-like" feel and generally a band or DJ, an elegant decorations, food, prizes, corsages and a photo booth. Themes have included a Bunny Hop, Masquerade Ball, Luaus and Spring Fling.

Attire is usually semi-formal to formal.  Must be at least 13 years old to participate.  There is no attendance limit.

Each fall, just when the colored leaves start dropping from trees, STRIDE partners with the Columbia High School Peer Leadership Club to offer a "Harvest Dance". It's a fabulous opportunity for teens with special needs to get together in a social environment to dance, laugh and most importantly, have fun!
